On 2 November 2013, Espee Railroad Services operated CF4412/CF4411/CM3301 and about 20 ARHS (ACT Division) passenger cars/vans headed from Canberra north to Gosford.
The locos ran around the train so CM3301 "Red Handed" could lead and perform load trials on Cowan Bank.
Due to various delays there was only time for one trial instead of the planned three, and then the train continued back south with CM3301 on the front.
Interestingly, CM3301 is the second CFCLA locomotive to bear the name "Red Handed", the first being RL301 before the class were turned down by CFCLA.
Seen here at Point Clare on run 4474 heading for Cowan Bank to begin its trial.
