Australian National locos GM24/936 near Long Plains, South Australia with and Adelaide to Broken Hill goods conveying a mixed bag of rolling stock on 21 November 1987.
EMD-powered GM24 was built by Clyde Engineering for the Commonwealth Railways in 1962, while ALCo-powered 936 was built for the South Australian Railways by A E Goodwin in 1957.
GM24 was withdrawn c1990 and 936 in 1993.
