On Australian National's narrow gauge (1067mm) Eyre Peninsual system, ALCo DL531 model no.873 waits at Kevin, South Australia with what would be the last load of rail hauled salt from this location.
Gypsum is still mined here which is hauled 2-3 times a day to the port of Thevenard for shipping.
