RM 31 passing through Ormondville Railway Station, New Zealand on 21/10/2017 for the Waipukarau 150 Year Celebrations.at Waipukarau.
Ormondvile Railway Station has been a Heritage Site since 1986. ormondvillerail.weebly.com/
RM 31 was built in 1938 at Woburn Shops, Wellington (Named "Tokomaru" and entered service on 17/08/1938.
RM 31 was written Off in 12/1972 and was moved to Pahiatua
Railcar Society in June 2001 and restored for Mainline Running in September 2011.
6 RM (No. 30-35) Standard Railcar A1-1A were built at Woburn Shops, Wellington in 1938/39 and ran in the North Island until 1972 and 4 have been save by preservation groups and only
RM 31 is certified for Mainline Running since 2011.
