Australian National narrow gauge 1067mm (3'6" ALCo DL531s climb the grade away from Wirrabara, South Australia with a load of superphosphate bound for Booleroo Centre on 30 December 1987. The train will return with loaded of grain wagons later in the day.
Both locos had been returned from Tasmania to bolster the loco roster on this isolated line between Gladstone & Wilmington, but their tenure was short-lived and it was closed before the end of 1988.
