An Australian National 930 with two V/Line S class would have been a rare combo, a single-ender and two S class even rarer, and as late as 1992!
There were plenty of 3000hp units available for Melbourne-Adelaide services and the 930s were on their last legs, so one can only assume there were loco failures aplenty around to generate such a combo.
