4908, 4906 and 48136 combine to work T182 container trip train from Sandown to Port Botany. This service only had another week and a half from when this shot was taken.
The two 49 class units were finally declared failures upon arriving at Botany. 4903 and 4906 were then removed from the train and shunted to a siding in disgrace. It is a shame that these two units couldn't see out the end of their train, as this was the service they dominated since beign sent to Sydney. T182 was known as the 49's train.
