    Electric Loco 8649 sits at Werris Creek on 26-9-2016.

    Im unsure to who owns this loco whether it has been preserved or owned by a company and awaiting scrapping or selling.

    50 of thee 86 class locomotives were built by Comeng in 1983 for the SRA of NSW and were all withdrawn by 2002.

    while most were scrapped at Broken Hill some were sold and re-entered service on work trains in the mid 2000s.

    5 of the class have been preserved
