I heard a rumor that a DL might appear on a Grainy due to PN R&B having more work than they (locos and crew) can handle.

It appears 8153 and 8171 have been brought in on SG to help with the grainies. This would allow for G's and XR's to come back onto BG if needed they are actually accredited to run on BG.

Interesting! Any idea whether they will be destined for Victorian or NSW use? Bringing them down here I assume Victorian but you never know.

Tonight’s 3XW4 Steel through Bunbury St @ 22:26 with NR64-NR60-9306. G520 came in behind NR54-NR15-NR113 on 4WP2 steel into Melbourne with Y152 picking it up from the LPC and to EDI, South Dynon.
