    In the Suez Canal right now it seems.

    What's the name Of the ship it's on? My phone won't let me view the marine traffic link. Aren't there two in the initial delivery!

    It's the Palabora.

    It's now in port at Singapore.

    Will the tram be unloaded in Brisbane and go straight to the Gold Coast or will it be sent to the Melbourne system for a shake down?

    I think that the tram will be due to arrive at Fisherman Islands on the 6th of September.

    Palabora is due alongside pm 6th/am 7th be unloaded and then will head straight to the Gold Coast.

    Trams will be arrive on the end of september/ early october.   I had readed on the gold coast bulletins.

    Location:
    Palabora has departed Lae (PNG) and is now in the Solomon Sea - nearly in Australian Waters.

    According to Qships website, it's due Fishermans Island No1 on 9 September at 6:30am.  It's scheduled to depart at 1am the following morning - so the trams will be unloaded on Monday.  Canons at the ready!

    One thing worries me though - we know Abbott hates urban rail, but surely he wont turn back this boat???

    Yep at pilot 0630, alongside around 0930. From what I heard unload around lunch. Will be a cool move to the Gold Coast!

    This tram wont be much good with all the dunkings it has had. First the Suez and then the Arabian Sea.

    There are two on board and below in the tank deck, not really fussed how they roll at the GC, will look good on the back of a truck.

    they're passing Yeppoon (Norther eastern off Rockhampton), not far away to arrival fisherman island.

    Any ideas what the other two vessels are with trams? According to GC papers there are three ships enroute.
