    Bushy one,  the panda is the one standing alongside the engine in the link that Poath showed.

    a6et, that was what I thought too.  However, that person is also known as Peter Wilks and we have deduced that PW writes the blog.  So how do we explain: "Jeff and i have returned from our trip to the USA and we will be back into full steam for the next few weeks before Jamie, Panda & myself fly out to China to check on the progress of our many projects... " To my simple way of thinking that suggests that Panda is different from PW.  Or perhaps Panda is some sort of Muppet that travels only to China. I have seen a photo of Panda checking models in China. If Panda is PW who is the blog author then it should have read Jeff, Panda and I have returned from our trip to the USA....

    I give up.  Clearly an in joke that was started before I became interested in AM.  Quite possibly a generationally incomprehensible issue.

    Auscision have posted today (28/1) that the 45's have just arrived today and are now being packed for dispatch.

    There must have been a last minute holdup, but sounds like they are (nearly) on their way.

    Where is this post?  I can't find it on their FB page or on the blog.  I was told by Peter W last Friday that all orders had been packed and ready to be posted.

    The post from Auscision was in response to a question regarding whether the orders had been sent.

    (I checked the wording of the post as I wrote the reply here last night)

    Strangely, as of early this morning (1am ish), the whole thread had been deleted (presumably by Auscision).

    It wouldn't surprise me to see Auscision limit the amount of IT updates or at least refrain from using particular mediums

    Like or loathe their business style, you have to look no further than their FB page and read their take on the amount of idiotic responses to see that it creates more annoyance than benefit

    It's one medium that I refuse to participate in - RPA is more than adequate at providing the opportunity to exchange thoughts, ideas and information. And if this fails there's always email or the dog-and-bone, where you may get to speak with Peter, Jamie or The Panda

    Has anyone used DCC solutions for there sound files / decoders im looking at buying a soundchip for the 45 and there web site states "authentic sounds" what about their 48 sound? and youtube vids?

    All 45 Class orders have now been posted. You should see them arrive in the next few days. If you don't receive them by the end of next week then please let us know. Also a few more numbers have now sold out with the rest expected to sell out over the coming weeks. We have just over 120 45s remaining in stock.

    Facebook update on the 46 class. Due in a couple of weeks!!


    Now that the 45 class is out of the way we are getting ready for the 46 class which is due to arrive in 2 weeks. Please note that Midland Red 46-2, 46-3, Indian Red 46-6, 46-8 & Candy 46-14 are getting very low. Get your orders in before they sell out!

    The Ultimate NR!



    Auscision has been working on a Sound equipped HO Scale NR that will operate on both DC & DCC. The sound files have been recorded and developed here in Australia from an actual NR Class Locomotive and will be factory fitted to each model. Our NR will be the most detailed NR available on the market and will feature over 300 separately applied parts. It is being produced in conjunction with our C44aci locomotive and will be available in 13 different liveries and have all of the same features as our C44aci. Further details and order forms will be available soon.

    I've got 3 versions of Indian Pacific on my list (there's the new PacNat version, with IP signage) and there were in fact 2 liveries for the Aboriginal schemes (NR30 and NR52). I can't see them being done unfortunately (I think copyright issues).

    Time will tell and there's always that old chestnut: "Unannounced Livery"

    There is also the 2 variations on the PN stars livery. The earlier painted units had 4 stars with the more recent ones having 5 stars.

    Such an underwhelming announcement I've gotta say.
    I thought they would get bored of producing diesels by now! Hopefully they'll run out soon and start focusing on steamers instead of teasing us.
