I Censored the picture of a male cats rear with tail lifted, head turned with teeth bared as it was going to draw the crabs Shocked
Mind you Aprils Fools Jokes are to be expected, and especially here on the Auscision page where pranks are more the norm than in other pages on this site.

As to Auscision doing steam? They have called us on this already, haven't they Wink  And as they have been dubbed the modern image manufacturer (despite all the 50 year old and more models they have produced)  It only seems fitting that if they did venture into steam they would build the biggest and the best most modern steam engine available to them. Smile  Eureka has done the NSW Garret and is about to release the heavy NSW engines, so perhaps the Auscision Steamer will actually be the H Class?
It makes good sense to me. But of course their are some magnificent SAR Engines that may not get the Sales to top the H Class.

If you did not do a VR H Class then the X Class it has to be Very Happy

Actually neither 12pm nor 12am are possible.

From Wickipedia "PM (also written pm or p.m.) often means "After noon" in the 12-hour clock (Latin Post meridiem)"

At 12 noon or midday the sun has not passed the meridian, so it is foolish to call 12 noon 12 pm.

Aaaaaaaah but..........

If you live east of the meridian then it would be 12:00 pm (QED).

Happy daydreaming,

John

PS - This may only apply for standard time applying throughout a region such as EST.  If you take the actual time at any meridian (or fraction thereof) it will always be 12:00 noon or midday.

True John,

I just get impatient with the decadent ambiguous usage of our language and the absence of understanding of such basic things as time.

Forgive an old bugger trying to do his bit to educate the great unwashed.  Don't get me started on spelling!  If one could write gaol, why write jail?

Happy pedantry,
John

Seeing as I can't talk about time I will talk about modern NSW action.

Boring........................

Oh, for the good old days, when all rollingstock was gunmetal grey (apart from the engines).

I remember strings of 50 odd S trucks, empty and all in a row, now that was a real train!

A great relief Steve.  I can have a rest from buying.  The burst of action when they produced a few things of interest - 45, 421, 43 (all paid for) - could have broken the bank.  Wasn't going to add overhead, so let the 46s slip by.

Just need Austrains to put the next lot of S wagons up for sale.  About all I need.  Maybe some BWHs to build that train up.

Happy archaicing,
John

Artwork for JLX's and the related flat wagons added to facebook.

Web product page has 2 new 'coming soon' placeholders added. RMX's maybe, or just the remaining JLX flatties? Speaking of which, the two types of RMX wagons were on display at Hobsons Bay exhibition 2 weeks ago, looked very detailed.

Product pages for JLX's and the related flat wagons are now up on the Auscision site.

$220 pre-order for pack of 4 wagons, $55 each not bad.

They are looking fantastic!

I've got a Railcorp version on order, but somehow I kind of wish I had ordered the Countrylink Mk1... Still a happy camper though

They were due for May release but given the P's have not arrived for the April release I would think you might be in for a bit more of a wait.
