The Hunter’s new representative in state Parliament says he only wants to hear from people who have something positive to say about the region.
Parliamentary Secretary for the Hunter and Central Coast Scot MacDonald told a Maitland Business Chamber meeting yesterday that he did not want to discuss issues such as the controversial Newcastle rail truncation.

This arrogant individual would do well to remember that he has been elected to represent his constituents, and if the Newcastle rail truncation is an issue for them (and it is!!!), then he should make representation to parliament as such. I suspect though, that this guy is very friendly with the greedy developers who want the associated land for themselves and their likely dodgy projects.
