Where am I? CRYPTIC VERSION

  retromelb Chief Commissioner

Well done Valvegear, Clayton is correct.  However, the original intention was for the capital L in Locomotive to represent the seventh letter, without making reference to a specific locomotive class. The subsequent clue changed that of course - L class electrics regularly passed through Clayton until mid-1987.

Thankee young sir . . .

Is this latest pop idol calm or excitable?"
  retromelb Chief Commissioner

Mordialloc (= idol calm or).  "calm" just jumped out, then "idol" gave it away - far too many years doing these cryptics!

Men hit crowds = West Richmond which is, of course, just after Down trains exit the second of  the tunnels.

The perspicacious Alamein_Line strikes at once, and his logic is spot on - it is indeed Aspendale.

Re-ran twice = Narre arren.
Tungsten has the chemical symbol W ( from "Wolfram") and we insert it to get Narre Warren.
  retromelb Chief Commissioner

Swiftly snapped up by Valvegear. Narre Warren and logic is correct, over to you...

Another exact decryption from retromelb - calcium's symbol is Ca, and the rest follows.
