Bit of a long shot, but I'm wondering if anybody would have a Soundtraxx Tsunami AT1000 or TSU1000 DCC decoder with EMD567 sounds that they no longer need?
I've ordered a new ECOnami 100 decoder from the USA, but have since realised that when it arrives I am going to have issues with programming it, due to the age hardware and software I'm using in the shed.
I'd be quite happy to supply the new ECOnami 100 to anybody who is willing to swap and I will happily pay the postage both ways.

PS: In case you're wondering, I use an old HP Compaq 6220 laptop with Windows XP Professional and am using an older version of Decoderpro 3 to program my locos. In order to be able to program the ECOnami decoders, I would have to install the current version Decoderpro....but it is not supported by Windows XP so I would have to upgrade to Windows 7 or 10....and the old HP laptop won't support those newer Windows version. So, I don't feel inclined to have to purchase a new laptop and windows version just to be able to properly program one new loco.

The bank teach you to be an old skinflint in your retirement ? Ha Ha.
You can pick up old Win 7 laptops at the op shop for $25. Or buy refurbished ones for $300 to $400 these days. Then you get the enjoyment of not counting to 5 before each key stroke. Ha Ha.
I just bought a brand new lap top for my train room but for the life of me, I cannot get Decoder Pro or Java to see my PR3 interface.
To add to that, I have at least 20 Tsunami.s here of the board variety bought when the dollar was above parity. Cant fit any of them without decoder pro and cant tell you which ones have which sounds on them without decoder pro either. When I DO get it working, I will advise you on the other place/ group. With the assistance of the blokes on the JMRI User Group (on Yahoo), I have just managed to download a new version of Java and the v4.6 of Decoderpro.
The only thing I stuffed up on was that I neglected to save my existing roster of about 40 locos, onto a thumb drive etc, so when I opened the new version there were only 2 locos showing (not sure why THEY survived the changeover??).
So, I will gradually add the existing locos to the roster when I feel so inclined.
With regard to your dilemma, have you considered asking the learned gents (I haven't seen any women on there) at the JMRI page on the Yahoo page? A true gentleman by the name of Dave Heap is VERY knowledgeable in this regard and he offered to talk me through the problem/s over the phone if I needed help.
I know I had a helluva job getting my laptop to talk to my NCE at first. With the assistance of Marcus Ammann I tried all sorts of stuff. It turned out to be an issue with the physical connection of the Serial Port connection on the face of the NCE Command Station. The hexagonal nuts with the threaded hole (that hold the guts of the port to the front of the command station and also accept the threaded screws from the connecting cable) were about 1mm too long and prevented the serial connector plug from going in far enough to make a solid connection. I had to use the Dremel to shave off a small amount of those two nuts so the cord would fully plug-in to the command station. Who'd have thought of that????
