Neither Kandos, Ben Bullen, or anywhere on that line, nor Denman, Robertson, Yerong Creek, nor Harefield
Yerong Creek was the closest yet.
Like Yerong Creek there is not much left of the actual station at the location other than a heap of earth where the building once stood.
Harefield still retains its building but it is looking a bit sad and it is of a different style. AFAIK the original building at Harefield was similar to the others at smaller locations south of Junee but burnt down around 1960 and was replaced by the current structure
Like Yerong Creek and Harefield the location still sees passenger trains daily but they have not stopped there in a long time, they usually go past at a great rate of knots and if they do not it has nothing to do with passengers.
This location has something in common with the previous contribution from jibbonpoint
which was Lockhart but it is not geographic.
