But; you cannot seriously believe that our feedback says the project is viable. Our feedback is unanimous - you have no technical knowledge at all for such a scheme.
This Maglev conference in Russia may be interesting https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox/15d904366f12c1bceddyb ......... is that a link to your email inbox??????
Would love to be able to afford it.
Yep,silly me but there was a bit more info on my invitation. This Maglev conference in Russia may be interesting https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox/15d904366f12c1bceddyb ......... is that a link to your email inbox??????
Would love to be able to afford it.
It won't work for anyone but you
Is this what you meant to link to? http://www.maglevboard.net/en/the-conferences/maglev-2018
It took me a whole 9.5 seconds to find it on google
I loved this bit tacked on the end "Once concrete information on the conference is available, it will be published on this website."
So they like you have no idea what's going to happen or not!![]()
Why would you need to afford it? If they knew how wonderful magtube would be they would be flying you over there in first class and having you give a keynote address. These guys are only interested in Maglev and it will not be until they realise that the atmosphere will limit them to 500kph they will understand what most people have for a long time but still I think it would be very interesting.
Maybe they just don't have your contact details? You should get in touch.
Cheaper? Even your ridiculously low quote for construction, not including stations, not including building access to stations and not including rolling stock, is 35 billion. Airports and planes already exist. So you're starting several tens of billions of dollars behind the begin with. Safer? Have you got some statistics there to compare Maglev accidents with air transport? More reliable? One breakdown in your single tube will paralyze the whole system. You won't be able to bring in replacement magtubes from other elites, divert around the problem or use nearby magtube stations when there are problems. More comfortable? You want people sitting 5 across on bench seats, one meter apart, with no toilet or food facilities! You mentioned something else as an advantage as well but your point was probably just as ridiculous.4 stations =$2b
What we do not want to do is waste money on building a track that is limited to 600kph.Apart from costing twice as much to build and to run as Magtube, it is likely that China, South Korea or Elon Musk will have developed their 1,000kph train by then and we would get stuck with a second rate 500kph train.
Is it April 1?
This is a good video on the Chunnel https://www.pbslearningmedia.org/resource/phy03.sci.phys.mfw.bbchunnel/building-the-channel-tunnel/#.WchNA7puIdU Just shows you how little you can predict relying on surface drilling |
You Tube has a number of better and more informative doco's than that offering you posted

Thanks for that I just checked out the Robbins one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKVVPVwALbY which was far more accurate. Also saw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhsWvREDh-s&t=2945s in particular it is not good to have anything flammable especially if it has air to burn in. Sent this mob off an email in case they are interested in building Magtube http://www.bouygues-construction.com.au/project/ferden-tunnel/ |
