The only way to get the Art deco font for the SOP  is to draw up every individual letter yourself There is no commercial or downloadable font available as it was designed by the Victorian Railways internaly

It depends on the question being asked.....

The Spirit of Progress had the same font for its entire life as that train, 1937 to 1987.

After 1962 (maybe around 1965) Broad Gauge blue air conditioned cars received the standard VR shaded sans-serif lettering, but gold in colour rather than white on red cars.

The Spirit of Progress was never painted International Orange, although VR standard gauge cars on the Sydney Express were painted in the second green stripe scheme.

Broadway Engraved is generally similar to the VR font but it is not the same. The larger upper "loop" on the upper case B did not appear on the VR font.
