I thought they were knocking off high end hand bags in Sydney and Melbourne. Sounds fairly criminal. But a storm in a teacup compared to the 627 new cases in Victoria. Do I hear stage 4 coming on?

Yes indeed but the brother of one of the criminals is now playing the race card stating the only reason they are being hounded is because they are Sudanese.

I hope so

Possibly in an aged care home in QLD now for the flood of people fleeing Sydney

But as long as the footy is on right!

I worry about the brother because he might actually believe such crap to be true. These women set out on a carefully planned path of deception, including a flight home via Sydney instead of direct, and then lied about their travel. Even now, one is still refusing to tell what her movements were.
They need some time in the slammer, and the brother needs a good kick in the slats because he's the one being racist. He'll be the first to demand medical treatment if he's infected and, because nobody cares what race he is, he'll get it.

In fact, it's a drop of around 13%.

If your superannuation account balance went down by a similar amount in 24 hours, you would think it was a massive drop.

Perspective.

Really? Any Sudanese I have ever come across are pretty much jet black, these girls are barely tanned.

The numbers are still too high

I am not sure there are cases from the BLM protests, BUT I think allowing the protests, putting it out in the public’s mind that mass gatherings were no longer a problem, that large groups could congregate and that the precautions that were being undertaken previously suddenly were not important - will forever be looked on as quite a mistake to make.
I suspect I may have said much the same previously, but Aaron is quite right. Giving the green light to the BLM protest sent entirely the wrong message. I heard or read many comments from people who couldn't believe social distancing et al were necessary, given the fact that the Premier had not made vigorous attempts to stop the BLM gathering.

I am sure lots of people think the same, I hope my thoughts are not original or unique.

And number one on the list to blame IS "Karen from Warrandyte"

She may not have CV (serves her right when it's her turn), but emblematic of the rat baggery out there being spread by that new race of "influencers".
It's sad that some actually listen, sad world today.

BLM may have given a poor example, but Ms Karen went out of her way to undermine the only reasonable advice being provided.

sick & tired, with no cheer
John
You don’t think governments undermined their authority when they ‘allowed’ a protest despite the ‘reasonable advice’ they’d been providing before then? You don’t think that people rightly following the government’s reasoned advice stopped listening when the government said that their prior advice had no meaning on that day? Karen might be an influencer or whatever, but a bigger influencer was the government’s allowance of the frankly terrible lack of public awareness and safety displayed during the protest.
the lack of awareness around is out of towners believing the absolute lies spouted forth by The Australian and their ilk.

You weren't there Aaron.  Plenty coverage at the time did show awareness of distance and masks(not encouraged at that time).

Still not the right thing to do, but the safety process was actively encouraged and followed. Unlike rat bags encouraging the opposite.

We still live in a free society. You gunna blame politicians who you clearly dislike for every stupid thing people do, despite the warnings.
So you’re saying this is an example of following the government advice the day before and the day after?

https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2020/jun/06/australian-black-lives-matter-protests-tens-of-thousands-demand-end-to-indigenous-deaths-in-custody#img-1

Or are you saying that’s a doctored photo? You’re quite right, I wasn’t there, despite being an in principle supporter, I had better ways to use my time AND I knew that social distancing would be off the cards. I didn’t need to be there, the photos and much harder to manipulate ‘live’ moving images were enough.

Perspective.
If your superannuation went up by more than 36,000% from early June to late July you’d likely not be too concerned if came by an amount that is effectively a rounding error in accounting.

Further, I think the current wild spread in Victoria is still higher than 1/3 of a person per person, so if my dollars in superannuation had the chance to convert 1/3 of every other dollar they were in the proximity of to being my dollars then I wouldn’t even notice a 13% drop.

You’re right, perspective is important, and right now my perspective is that you have no idea what exponential functions look like, or why small changes in along the way are meaningless in relation to where the chart is going.

The brother of one of these girls infecting QLD is a flog, if he thinks people are going to buy into “they’re vilified because of their race” or whatever lame crap he’s peddling.

They are targeted because their deeds make them a
F-/ktard. The girls race is an irrelevant factor in their deed bequeathing them said title.

If he’d like to progress the argument by suggesting the girls race has predisposed them to their behaviour and the handbag stealing syndicate they’re supposedly in, them I’m sure a great many people (law included) would be very interested in hearing. But I doubt as much.

The flog would be best off focusing his concerns around why a family member has brought the spotlight upon them.

Race my smeg!!
Let’s see Karen from Brighton, or Bunnings, or Warrandyte play the “white middle aged woman being discriminated against”, because of her race.......

Being a Covid F-/ktard clearly transcends race.

I bet Wuhan hasn’t got this problem because over there;
1- they’re culturally accustomed to wearing masks, and
2- when the government says your doing something to comply, your fricken doing it or else.
