Let's say you did buy some bitcoin for $1 each in early 2011. Surely you would have been happy to sell them for $32 each in June that year. You'd be crazy not to, yeah?
Whatever the investment vehicle, knowing when to sell is the hardest decision in my humble opinion. But, as long as a profit has been made, your objective has been met.
Speculating is not for me. There's no shortage of listed companies that actually make and/or sell stuff, whose share prices have risen steeply either. For example, the share price of Redflow (ASX:RFX) has doubled in the past four weeks.
