Considering how many things are now known to be rooolly rooolly bad for us, I'm surprised anybody survives infancy these days.

It's not dripping that's the problem. The real problem is the sedentary lifestyle many people have. No or little exercise, drive their cars everywhere, forgot all about walking etc.

I have heard from a V/Line conductor that the buffet for the SG Vlos is currently being looked at by WorkSafe, so it can't be far off.Interesting, must be an issue. Depending on the toing and froing, it may be quite a while.

Worksafe would have to be the greatest growth industry in Victoria.Hmmm... Do they? A restaurant kitchen doesn't. Building Surveyor is only concerned for the structure, Council's concerned for food safety. The buffet is only a reheating/dispensing facility. A typical food truck (both have wheels) has far more food cooking capacity.
IF they have a legitimate role in the design and operation of railway buffet cars why would they not review and approve (or not) the design plans before construction is complete?

Heard ARTC is paying politician football over the introduction to Revenue Service of these SG V/Lo’s & has this decided to hold the VIC DOT (& by default V/Line) to ransom in signing them off as fit to ending revenue earning service on there network till there (ARTC’s) demands for extra funding from The VIC Grubbym’t is met…Time for Vic Premier Dan Andrews to have a little chat with PM Scott Morrison about the ARTC's antics. This is just not on.
ARTC’s Demands: they want a set of points in Dynon replaced, plus all passive crossings that are currently restricting SG V/Lo’s to 60KPH betwn Seymour & Wodonga upgraded to full protection of lights, bells & booms before there will sign them off as fit for revenue~earning service in there network…
Heard they also want the Albury Stabling Facility fully operational & commissioned before they will sign off on the inservice operation of SG V/all’s…

What else do you expect from the ARTC if this is true. All the stuff they are wanting to do is admirable but to hold the SG vlocity to ransom is a bit childish.IDK VLine/Vic Govt initially holding ARTC to ransom saying that they wont run VLos on the line until the track is upgraded is also childish no?
