Surprising. I went and looked at this area on Google Maps and it's quite a mess. Street side tents, tagged motorhomes, burnt out cars, there's even a needle exchange program there. Wherever the rails to, trouble follows it seems. Even if the trains slow down and stop, I'm surprised the containers seem to be so easy to break in to. Even a thief going 'equipped' would take a while, or should take a while to get in. I imagine the railway police are not permitted a 'shoot-to-kill' policy in liberal California with its Hollywood stars.
