I was surprised that there was not more use of this forum after the the demise of AME. Anyway, now that you have woken up this forum, here is my news.
There hasn't been much to report about our club (CCSM at Narara NSW) as once we stopped for covid two years ago our routine was broken and it was impossible to restart. Last month we changed our board and hope to resume limited running over a portion of the track as soon as we can prove to the doubters that it is still physically possible. New members most welcome. Contact me for details.
Separately I arranged about a kilometre of heavy extruded rail for a new private track not so far from Sydney. It would be up to the owner to announce its existence in due course.
On my track I have a small wooden truss bridge that needs rebuilding after 19 years. Any offers of help most welcome.
As for rolling stock, nothing much to report except an experiment with 3D printed wheels for a 7-1/4" gauge light rail vehicle (a non-passenger carrying unit).
