Australia still lacks a federal government plan to decarbonise the transport supply chain mainly rail and deal with huge carbon emissions on trucks. 

On Q&A this last week transport was called out as being a major contributor to emissions. It was also agreed hydrogen at scale is at least a decade away. 

What is being down about reducing dieselisation and moving to more electrification ?

This is what his happening now across the European continent snd the UK and USA will
Move on it too.  We need to examine electrification of inland rail
And soon.

Did not see the programme  but agree there has been next to nothing about reducing transport emissions from the federal government including grants to electrify and use renewables.
