Does anyone know if there is a plan to preserve 8050 once Pacific National are finished with it?  As the last NSW Alco you would think it would be a significant loco to keep.

This may be a silly question to some but can someone tell me the difference between the S and K sets please?

Seems like an interesting way to go bankrupt.

I can't see it being affordable enough to compete with air travel, to charge what it actually costs to run will ensure no one would use it.
