Still hard to believe that there are no weekend services for Tonsley... honestly seem so silly. What was the point of that park and ride?

It’s an Adelaide Uni advertisement. Not Uni SA

Anyone know what the 30-40t crane was doing at Torrens Park railway station today?

Hi all,

Since this closure started today I thought it would be appropriate to start a thread for this closure in order to keep track of the works being undertaken and the construction of the Overpa ...

I also noticed that the doors on 4004 take much longer to close than the other sets. The sequence goes 'ding doors closing ding' then 3-5 seconds later the door actually closes.

Sorry if this has already been reported but 4019 set has beeps that occur when the doors are able to be opened and when they are closing in addition to the 'doors closing' announcement, in a similar s ...

What happened to the 'A' end of 4016? The cowling around the coupler is all mangled and broken. Anyone know what happened?

The Mandurah line has 9 stations between Mandurah and Perth Underground where as the Seaford Line has 22.

[quote=justapassenger]I don't think so, no amount of track work will fix that problem, which will have to wait for version 1.4 of the A-City EMU before it gets fixed.

No it's not a glitch, just the way the tracking system works as when the train is Adelaide bound it displays the fleet number as 41xx.

At 8:30 this morning I saw 4007 hitched up to a couple of 3000 ...

The 9:37, 10:37, 11:37, 12:37, 1:37 and 2:37 Showground Central trains are being turned around at Mitchell Park Station. Why didn't they just open them up to Tonsley passengers?

Posted 07 Sep 2014 23:07 in South Australia by Tonsley213

Also the major influx of bandwagoners would have played a major part in the higher than expected numbers.
