North Shore Line
Trains to the city on the Inner West Line have resumed between Ashfield and Redfern after a person was injured by a train at Lewisham earlier. However, the Inner West Line remains partially closed from Redfern to Ashfield in that direction only. Trains from the city will continue to stop at Stanmore and Summer Hill stations only. Anyone travelling away from the city from Macdonaldtown, Newtown, Petersham and Lewisham stations can board trains to the city and change at Redfern to continue their journey towards Ashfield. Buses are being organised to operate a replacement service between Central and Ashfield in that direction only. Passengers can still use their train tickets on STA Sydney Buses in the affected area. Passengers should allow additional travel time, check indicator boards and listen to station announcements. Passengers travelling on the Bankstown, Western, Northern, North Shore and South lines are also advised to allow extra travel time. As a result, buses are also supplementing trains between Macarthur and Campbelltown.
