According to the rules posted at the start of this thread in 2008 it should be open floor now.
Should we enforce the rule or wait a bit longer for jamesadams7?

Apologies, don't check Railpage that often so didn't see my post was right. I don't have any photos anyway so would've made it open floor.

I'll give you all a hint.
The tram line continues heading almost due north for over four more kilometres.

That would be the corner of Sydney Rd and Barkly Street in Brunswick, right near Jewell Station. One of the few bits of the tram network I know well!

Open floor.

Route 16 on Glenferrie Rd, near the Monash Freeway overpass:

Giveaway was blue rubbish bins, indicating Boroondara, and Z-class trams only operate on 16 and 72 this side of town. Then I just checked for areas where they passed a park Wink

Open floor

Still trying with this one - had thought Riversdale Road but a quick Google Maps trip didn't show anywhere

Far enough from the terminus that it is worthwhile for the guy to be awaiting an outbound service / small group of shops at the bottom of the hill

Hmmmm ......

I reckon Riversdale Road is right - the traffic lights are at Wattle Valley Road.  Takne with a long tele lens so emphasise the cityscape.

That's it, over to you duttonbay.

Ooh.  Bear with me - I've never had to come up with a photo for the tram quiz before.  I don't even know the rules (as in what's in and what's not).  I shall be back shortly.

Is it Nicholson St near Glenlyon Rd?

It's been over a week and duttonbay hasn't responded to my guess.
According to the rules on page 1 of this thread it became open floor after three days.
Has anyone got a photo or will we keep waiting?
  duttonbay Minister for Railways

Sorry, I've been away and didn't notice your guess. It's not Nicholson Street near Glenlyon.  However as the rules have been broken, I'm happy to relinquish control of the quiz.

Oh dear, one month and no guesses.
Maybe a photo with better lighting and more foreground will help.
