Thanks, JMarto15.

Just another dart at a map.

We are now looking for a closed station on an open line.

The station building was replaced by one from elsewhere in the state in the '30s.

Menzies Creek?  (It's a place that's always had an aura about it.)
Faredodger
Not Menzies Creek. (Is that in scope, given the Gembrook line appeared in the Metro timetables?)

It may be debatable, but I've never thought of it as suburban.  It was never visited by a spark.  The same goes for the Healesville, Warburton, Stony Point, Mornington and Whittlesea lines.  Anyway, I'm standing my ground on that.

Try Portland-North Portland-Portland.  There's no possibility that could be construed as suburban.
  duttonbay Minister for Railways

I never thought of the Gembrook being suburbna either, but that's where it sits in the VR pantheon of timetables (including public, as it appears in the 1939 suburban book.)

But Portland-North Portland-Portland is a much better guess. And correct!  So it's your turn again, Faredodger
