If you get the title of the thread, basically everytime you see a crossing that now has E-Bells in place of the older style mechanical bell at any level crossing in Melbourne, you post it in this thread. I'll start off by saying that every crossing on the Sandringham line now has E-Bells fitted on them. These replaced various mechanical bells (including a rare Safetran Mechanical Bell in Ripponlea, the last in use in Metropolitan Melbourne.)

Most crossings around South Geelong have them.

The upfield line seemed to be the first to get synthetic bells I recall these as long ago as 2003, although they are different to the ones you are referring to, and around the same time, I remember Kensington having these too.

I remember Murrumbeena having these quite a way back too (but not for much longer!)

Would it not make a bit more sense to outline which crossings have the old bells? Buckley St, Essendon still has old bells, and I think Cherry St, Werribee has the old style too.

Don't know about new ones, but the one installed at Heatherdale has its days numbered.

There's still two crossings in Pakenham (my local suburb) with Westinghouse Hybrid bells (Main Street & Racecourse Road) McGregor Road has E-Bells installed on the crossing in early 2014, and Cardina Road just had E-Bells installed in June of this year. Also, I want to notify anyone living in Ivanhoe that the crossing at Marshall Road still has a teardrop bell on it and is also the last one still in use on a commercial line in Melbourne! You might want to film it in action, incase the government upgrades that crossing too.
