T357 was dropped off at the terminal overnight to become the terminal shunter?

Maybee its broken? and will go to seymour or elsewhere for repair?
  hbedriver Assistant Commissioner

Could just be due for a heavy service. 345 is owned by SCT, they would be paying to hire a replacement

One from Shawn

SCT's SCT003, leads Railfirst's CF4410 and SCT's T414 through Sunshine, Melbourne as D762, Light Engine Movement from Laverton to Barnawartha to drop off T414 for shunting duties...

T414 could do with a bit of maintenance and a clean?

T414 was transferred mid-consist to Adelaide on 3MP9 on the 27th of July and then returned from Adelaide again mid-consist as a part of 4PM9 on the 7th of August. Presumably any required maintenance was taken care of during this time.

I do agree though, it does look as if there is a bit too much surface rust on the old girl, she could have done with a re-paint, but I suppose being a depot shunter, SCT figured the repaint wasn't worth it.
