A trouble with all websites like those in RP is that the threads get longer and longer as extra posts are added on. It becomes harder and harder to search a thread to see if a proposed thought has been covered before. A better system is wikipedia where users are only editing the top page, which remains succinct . Uses can contribute as little as a one character change (add, delete, alter) and feel satisfied that they have done something worthwhile. The writer does not know how difficult it would be to create a separate "railpedia", if this has not already been done. Some RP topics could be implemented on the real wikipedia, such as say "Inland Rail", but many RP topics are too local to be tolerated on the real wikipedia. It does not help that the RP search function does not seem to work properly. Has any RPer suggested this before? What do you think?
