S302 was one of four ex Victorian Railway S class diesel locos sold to the privately owned West Coast Railway for use on passenger services between Melbourne and the seaside town of Warrnambool, although only 3 actually saw service with WCR.
I'm guessing this was taken on a rather gloomy day in April 1999 with S302 waiting to depart Warrnambool.
S302 was built for the VR in 1957 by Clyde Engineering in Sydney and remains in service today with Southern Shorthaul Railroad.
