Relatively new railway station on the Melbourne to Albury rail corridor, opposite Somerton loop.
Interstate standard gauge freight and passenger services between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane can be seen on at this location. Additionally, the standard gauge Somerton loop is directly opposite the station providing the chance to capture a cross.
The broad gauge Melbourne to Seymour route passes through this station, which includes regional passenger and freight services. The Metro suburban rail service extends past here and onto Craigieburn.

This location is quite near the Hume Highway (Sydney Road) and Somerton Road intersection.
As this is a metropolitan rail station there are car parks available, but depending on the time of day they may all be taken up by commuters.
Roxburgh Park station is on the Craigieburn line and is also a stopping point on the 484, 541, 542 and 544 bus routes.
