Aurizon today announced that Dr Jennifer Purdie had been appointed as the new Executive Vice President Enterprise Services.
Dr Purdie will be a direct report to the Managing Director & CEO Lance Hockridge.
She will fill the role recently vacated by Greg Pringle and will have responsibility for Information Technology, Group Legal and General Counsel, Office of the Company Secretary, National Policy and Safety, Health and Environment.
Dr Purdie’s most recent role has been at Rio Tinto as Chief Advisor Projects, Technology and Innovation. Prior to that she has served in a number of other roles at Rio Tinto including Global Practice Leader, Technology Delivery, Technology and Innovation as well as a Diamonds and Minerals Executive based in the United Kingdom.
