USA: Georgetown Rail Equipment Company has acquired structural monitoring equipment manufacturer SENSR from Reference LLC.
‘We are very excited to be able to expand our product offerings to the rail industry and beyond by acquiring a very key product that is showing itself to be important and valuable to the bridge and structure monitoring industry’, said Wiggie Shell, President & CEO of GREX who will serve as Chairman of the wholly-owned subsidiary SENSR Monitoring Technologies. ‘So much of our country’s infrastructure is showing its age, and the SENSR products will facilitate the monitoring of these structures to better analyse what level of deterioration exists in them today and what might assist in prioritising the refurbishing of our countries highway and railroad spans.’
