Train travellers are calling on the Victorian Government to confirm when rail services will fully return between Melbourne and Bendigo.
The Bendigo Rail Action Group says people have been enduring a mix of buses and trains for almost a year while the track is upgraded for fast rail services.
The group's Laurie Whelan says it is critical for people making plans for work and study next year to know when the trains will be back.
"Students will be starting to make choices and decisions about whether they're going to ... commute or travel part of the way to Melbourne, and likewise students from Kyneton having to come to Bendigo, so people need to know ... so they can make good decisions about where they're going to work or travel and study," he said.
