Shri S N Sahai Secretary Ministry of Power in the presence of MD, DMRC Dr Mangu Singh along with CMD/PFC Shri Rajeev Sharma inaugurated the Women’s Convenience Lounge at Barakhamba Road station with a dedicated diaper changing centre, breastfeeding kiosk & free napkin vending machine.
Previously, From International Women’s Day i.e. 8th March, 21 metro stations of the Noida-Greater Noida Metro have sanitary pads available for free of cost along with other facilities that were inaugurated by Managing Director of Noida Metro Rail Corporation, Ritu Maheshwari.
This step taken by DMRC is very helpful for the women, who go out for work or any other places, every day. This is also encouraging menstrual hygiene is maintained by real estate group Ace. “Ace Studio, the part of Ace group, will bear the expenses of sanitary pads for 1 year,” an official said.
