The next step in the GP mill project was to make a short run of chain link fence. I used the same techniques as shown in the last post.
This time I tried painting the frame with a silver paint marker.
I installed the fence on the layout by drilling small holes and poking the fence in to benchwork.
I built a couple more gates for the track. I plan to animate these.
Next, I turned my attention to the scenery between the mill and the road. I planted several small trees on the grassy area.
To show the two building’s relevance to each other, I added a pair of pipes in between them.
