With the worsening situation with regard to Covid 19 and South Australia The Ghan passenger train has been stopped at Alice Springs.
Circulating reports confirm The Ghan (currently in Alice Springs) is being turned around and will head back to Adelaide with onboard passengers being confined to their cabins for the remainder of the trip.
