There were 88 sightings for this week. This is two sighting less than last week, making a total of 3490 sightings for this year to date. On day 290 last year we had recorded 4122 sightings.
We have seen four sightings on the B/G this week, which is one less that last week. All three Mildura trains were seen this week and all trains had G527(PN) on the front.
The two down trains run early and the up train was just under an hour late at Gheringhap. The only other sighting on the B/G was of EM100 on the up on Wednesday afternoon.
On the S/G we have seen seven AN class sightings with four of them being seen on the Patricks trains along with four XRB slave unit sightings. We saw eight sleeper trains this week, with each train having a single 81 class up front. And we have seen two light loco movements, with T386 on the up on Sunday and 8171 on the down on Monday.
On the SCT trains we have seen 16 sightings of the SCT class locos and one sighting of SCT’s G512. On the four QRN trains we have seen eight sightings of LDP’s 003 & 004 along with two sightings of QRN’s G class locos. And we had on 22 class sighting.
All six P & O trains were hauled by VL355 & VL356.
Wednesdays up PM9 SCT train came in with SCT007+SCT003+OIL POD+G512(S). And on Saturday PN’s AB6 train came in with NR41(PN)+NR101(PN)+NR62+NR29(PN).
