There were 94 sightings for this week. This is six sighting more than last week, making a total of 3584 sightings for this year to date. On day 297 last year we had recorded 4223 sightings.
We have seen only three sightings on the B/G this week, which is one less that last week.
All three Mildura trains were seen and all trains had G525 on the front along with P20 on Monday’s 9103 and X41 on Wednesday’s 9107 and Friday’s 9108. The two down trains run about an hour early and the up train was just a few minutes late after detaching ten cement pots into the gypsum siding at Gheringhap.
On the S/G we have seen 14 AN class loco sightings with six of the sightings being seen on the Patrick’s trains along with six sightings of the XRB slave units. We have seen 11 sleeper trains this week, five on the down and six on the up with a total of 14 X 81 class sightings. We have seen one PN grain train this week from NSW to Dimboola with XR559+XR555 and 50 hoppers. And we have seen four light loco movements, with three of them being seen on Wednesday evening, first on the down was C501(VR)+T386(ELZ) at 1844, then at 2142 we saw 8037(Coote) on the down and this loco returned into the loop on the up at 2245 and departed at 2327 After an up sleeper train pulled in behind it and they both crossed MP5. And the other light loco was seen on Thursday with T386(ELZ)+S301(ELZ) which sat in the loop from 1943 to 2107 while it crossed three down trains.
On the SCT trains we saw 19 sightings of the SCT class locos and one sighting of G515(S), and we have seen some QRN loading on two SCT trains this week. And on the four QRN trains this week we saw seven sightings of LDP’s 003 & 004, three sightings of QRN G class locos, one CLF sighting and one sighting of QRN’s 6001. And all six P & O trains were hauled by VL355 & VL356.
Monday’s up PM9 SCT train came in with five SCT class locos, SCT012+SCT011*+SCT010*+SCT004*+SCT013*. And Thursday’s down MP9 SCT train went out with SCT010+SCT001+SCT012*+OIL POD+G515(S). Friday’s down MA6 QRN train went out with 6001(Q)+LDP003+G534*(Q). And PM6 came in with NR101(PN)+NR96(PN)+NR112(PN)+NR70.
