Victoria, 3-10 to 8-10-2004
Well we are back to normal sightings this week with 108 for the week making 810 sightings for the year to date. We had 28 sightings on the B/G, the biggest lash ups being two trains with 5 locos, the best lash up being Tuesday's 9123 with G524+A85+GM36(CR)+A70(VLP)+T320(VR).
Another good lash up was Saturday's 9126 with G521+S313(SRV)+S301(FA)+S307(VL), three S's in different liveries. On the S/G we saw 15 DL's for the week with eight of them on the Patrick's trains. We only saw one AN for the week. But we did have eight sightings with EL's (51 & 55). Now the diversions are over we have started to get visits again from S/G grain trains with Three ups & three downs all with a G & an EL.
Again on Saturday morning we saw a GHAN loco come into Melbourne and return West in the Evening, This time it was NR74, it looks like each loco may have to come to Melbourne for a service every two weeks? On Thursday evening MA3 Patrick's turned up about an hour early so it was put away in No2 road to let MA5 run through him, AM3 departed 45min later still about 20min early.
Regards, Graham Elliott.
