These three machines have already arrived in Kopenhagen. EB 3201, EB 3202 and EB 3203 arrived on 14.09.2020. For the authorization tests other locomotives have been used during the past years.
DSB gets Vectrons equipped with the ETCS train control system as well as the PZB/LZB and DK-STM control systems. They will operate in Denmark and Germany and will be used primarily in regional transport as traction for DSB’s Bombardier-built double-decker passenger cars. Later, pairs of EB electrics will be hauling the Talgo-passenger cars on order.
Denmark is the twnetiest country to approve a version of the Vectron. The complete list: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.
