Statement from Ixion Model Railways Ltd
While railfanning with Corey, we made a stop at Mohawk Valley Railroad Co. in Schenectady, NY. I’ve covered the store multiple times before, so I’ll just share a few photos I took. Delaware and Hudson were happy for some attention, and for once they were both awake at the same time.
Most of the locomotives in the case were different from the last time I was there, including an HO scale Thomas and coaches. I was very tempted, but adding the cost of DCC and the hours spent installing it turned me off.
A D&H U-boat was also tempting, but a bit over my budget.
Three D&H passenger cars were available for 44.98 each (when bought together).
Corey found a Lionel L&N boxcar, and I bought an 89 foot TTX flatcar, which you may have already seen in a recent video. Overall, it was great to be back to Mohawk Valley after well over a year. -Harrison
