A little boy has been killed in the US after his family's van was hit by a train as they waited for a Christmas light display.
The family was reportedly waiting in line to drive through the annual display in Fresno, California, on Tuesday evening local time, the US ABC reported.
While in line, their van got stuck on the train tracks and was later struck by an Amtrak train, police said.

Five-year-old Anton Solorio was killed.

Three other members of the family were hospitalised with minor injuries.
None of the train passengers were injured and it has since resumed its route.
