Andrew Adam is stepping up from being COO to full CEO at DP World Australia.
FORMER Pacific National freight president Andrew Adam has been appointed chief executive of waterfront giant DP World Australia.
Adam was already working as DPW’s chief operating officer and he takes on his new role from incumbent Glen Hilton who is taking on an expanded role in the Asia-Pacific region.
Adam is said to bring strong commercial acumen and decisive leadership to the role.
“I am excited to be taking up the role of chief executive officer at DP World Australia – a business I am immensely proud to be a part of,” Adam said.
“I am buoyed by the ongoing strength and success of our DP World Australia – the benefits of which will continue to flow to Australia’s businesses, consumers and the broader economy.”
Outgoing CEO Glen Hilton congratulated Andrew Adam on his new role as DPWA chief executive saying he had played ”a critical role in ensuring the ongoing strength and efficiency of our Australian business over recent years”.
