Gheringhap Sightings w/e 29/1/2022.

Due to culvert wash outs in South Australia which cancelled most PM/MP trains there were only 43 sightings for this week, which is 30 sighting less than last week. Making a total of 283 sightings for this year to date. On day 29 last year we had seen 393 sightings, this is 110 sightings less than at the same time last year.

We saw 7 sightings on the Broad Gauge. This total included 5 x PN Grain trains and 0 x Qube Grain train and 0 x SSR Grain trains. Total B/G trains for this year are 38 (At the same time last year we had seen 102 x B/G trains, this is 64 less than last year.) Total B/G grain trains for this year are 30 (At the same time last year we had seen 39 grain trains on the B/G) This is 9 sightings less than at the same time last year.

We saw 36 sightings on the Standard Gauge. This total included 2 x PN Grain train, 0 x Qube Grain trains and 0 x SSR Grain and 0 x GWA grain trains. Total S/G trains for this year are 245. (At the same time last year, we had seen 291 S/G trains, this is 46 sightings less than last year. Total S/G grain trains for this year are 32. (At the same time last year, we had seen 39 grain trains on the S/G). This is 9 grain sightings less that at the same time last year.

Total grain trains for this year are 62, this is 19 less than at the same time last year.
