Starting Saturday, **January 9**, [GO Transit](http://www.gotransit.com/) is suspending all GO train service to and from Niagara Falls for the winter. By suspending the trains, GO says, it can "match [passenger] demand and use our resources efficiently". The transit agency expects to resume the weekend service again in spring.
Sunday, **January 3** was the last day for the weekend train service.
While GO is suspending Niagara train service, buses continue to operate along GO's 12 **Niagara Falls / Burlington** route hourly every day. You can connect with GO trains along the 01 **Lakeshore West** line at Burlington GO Station.
The elevators at Burlington GO aree [out of service until early 2021](/archives/weblog/2020/10/24-burlington.shtml) during upgrades.
