Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) opened financial bids on Friday for completing the balance work on Pink Line stretch of 7.5 km from Kalena Agrahara to Swagath Road Cross stations under Phase-2 of Bangalore Metro in which GR Infraprojects emerged as the lowest bidder for this contract.
The work consists of the construction of an elevated viaduct and five stations on a stretch of length 7.50 Km from Gottigere to Swagath Road Cross including the Kothanur Depot entry line. The metro stations to be constructed are Gottigere, Hulimavi, IIMB, JP Nagar 4th Phase and Swagath Road Cross.
BMRCL invited bids for this work in March this year with an estimated cost of INR 339.21 Crores and completion period of 21 months.
